  • 6 to 8 - eggs
  • 3 tbsp - tea leaves
  • 1 tbsp - Cinnamon stick
  • 3 tbsp - soya sauce
  • 3 - Star anise
  • How to Make Marbled Eggs:

    1. Boil eggs for 10 mins until hard boiled.
    2. Drain and cool at once by placing in iced water.
    3. Tap each egg with the back of a spoon until cracks appear all over.
    4. Take enough water in a pan so that the eggs are covered with water.
    5. Keep the pan on fire.
    6. Add tea leaves, cinnamon, star anise and soya sauce.
    7. Simmer gently on low flame for at least half hour.
    8. Allow to cool and shell before serving.
    9. Serve along with chilli sauce.
