How to Make Marmalade Meringue Pudding

  • Heat the milk till warm.
  • Remove from fire.
  • Add butter and stir till butter is melted.
  • Add 1/3 the sugar and stir till dissolved.
  • Add cinnamon powder.
  • Place the bread crumbs in a mixing bowl and pour the milk over it.
  • Leave aside to soak for 30 minutes.
  • Stir the egg yolks into the bread mixture.
  • Pour the mixture in a greased baking dish.
  • Bake in oven (160 degrees centigrade) till set (About 30 mins).
  • Beat the egg whites till stiff.
  • Beat in the remaining sugar, little at a time.
  • Spread marmalade over the set pudding.
  • Cover completely with the meringue and sprinkle with a table spoon of sugar. Return to the oven till the meringue turns pale brown.
  • Serve the pudding warm.
