Ingredients

  • 6 slices - bread
  • 6 tbsp - grated Coconut
  • 2 tbsp - puffed Channa dal
  • 1.5 tsp - Coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp - Poppy Seeds
  • 5 - Red Chillies
  • A little Tamarind
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander leaves
  • 4 - small Onions
  • 3 - Garlic pods
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee/oil for frying
  • How to Make Masala Bread:

    1. Grind all the masala ingredients to a fine paste.
    2. Smear the paste on sliced bread (both sides) and shallow fry in a little ghee or oil till brown.
