  • cashew nuts - 1/2 kg
  • salt - one and a half tsp
  • gram flour (Besan) - 1/2 cup
  • rice flour - 1/2 cup
  • chilli powder - 1 to 2 tsp
  • thymol seeds (ajwain, omam) - 1/2 tsp
  • asafetida - little

How to Make Masala Cashew nuts

  • Mix salt with one and a half cup of water. Sprinkle on cashew nuts and mix well.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix. Sprinkle some water if necessary to make the masala stick to the cashew nuts. Deep fry in moderately hot oil. Cool and store.
