  • 1 cup - Rice (washed and soaked for 15 minutes)
  • 1 cup - Corn kernels
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 1 - Tomato (chopped)
  • 1 cup - green bell pepper (cubed)
  • 1 tsp - pav bhaji masala
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Butter
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • How to Make Masala Corn Rice:

    1. Heat enough oil in a pan, add the onions and saute until they turn translucent.
    2. Add the tomatoes, cook for few more minutes.
    3. Now add the cubed bell peppers and corns and saute everything together.
    4. Add the pav bhaji masala, red chilli powder and salt to the vegetables and saute for a few seconds.
    5. Now add the rice, stir well, add two cups of water and cook everything on simmer until the rice gets well cooked.
    6. Add the butter to the cooked corn rice and serve with papads or any kind of spicy side dish.
