Ingredients

  • Minced meat or chicken - 1/2 cup
  • Mushrooms (finely chopped) - 1/2 cup
  • Rice (cooked) - 1/2 cup
  • Onion (chopped) - 1
  • Tomato (chopped) - 1
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander (chopped) - 3 tbsp
  • Bell peppers - 2
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Shredded cheese - 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Masala Peppers

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and ginger-garlic paste. Fry till onions turn pink.
  • Add minced meat to the pan and fry for 5 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add tomatoes and chilli powder. Cook with a little water.
  • Now add the mushrooms and rice and fry for 5 minutes, covered.
  • Open the lid and add garam masala and coriander. Take off heat and keep aside.
  • Chop bell peppers horizontally into two halves.
  • Remove seeds and brush its cavity with oil.
  • Stuff the halved capsicums with the mince. Top with cheese.
  • Brush the exterior of the capsicums with oil.
  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
