  • 1 cup - Rice flour
  • 1 tsp - Channa dal
  • 4 to 5 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp - grated Coconut
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • Finely chopped coriander (few sprigs)
  • 1 - finely chopped Onion
  • 1 bunch - finely chopped dill or sabaki soppu
  • Finely chopped Curry leaves (few springs)
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Masala Roti:

    1. Mix all ingredients with rice flour and enough water (hot water) to make smooth dough. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
    2. Take a small ball of dough and start pressing from the middle to the end on a tava into a round shape. Sprinkle oil alongside.
    3. Cook for 5 to 10 min or until it gets cooked.
    4. Have it with pumpkin palya, butter and sunflower seed chutney.
