Ingredients

  • Boiled Rice (idli Rice) - 2 cups
  • Mustard Seeds 1tsp
  • Urad Dal 1tsp
  • Channa dal 1tsp
  • Onion 2
  • Tomato 4
  • Curry leaves little
  • Red Chilli 2
  • Oil 3tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Masala Sevai:

    1. Soak rice for 3 hrs. Grind rice nicely with salt.
    2. Steam in idli plate for 20 minutes. Press each idli in sev mould.
    3. Pour oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds. When it starts crackling, add the red chilli, dals & curry leaves. Fry the onion & tomato.
    4. Add the sevai. Mix thoroughly.
