Ingredients

  • 2 tins - tomato puree
  • 2 - cloves
  • 1 - bay leaf
  • 1 tsp - sugar
  • 1/4 tbsp - cumin powder and chilli powder
  • Small piece - cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp - butter
  • Salt and pepper - to taste

How to Make Masala Tomato Soup

  • Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan, add the bay leaf, garlic, 2 cloves and fry for a few seconds.
  • Add tomato puree, stir. Bring to a boil.
  • Add 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder, salt and 2 tsp sugar.
  • Simmer for 5-7 mins.
