Ingredients

  • 3 - Big tomatoes
  • 1 - Onion (Chopped finely)
  • 1/2 cup - Carrot (Peeled and grated)
  • 1/4 cup - Coriander (Finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp - Tamarind chutney
  • 1 tsp - Green (Coriander) chutney
  • Cumin seeds (jeera) - Freshly powdered
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup - Puffed rice (Cleaned)

How to Make Masala Tomatoes

  • Slice tomatoes into thick slices. Arrange on the plate side by side. Dot each slice with both the chutneys.
  • Sprinkle salt and jeera powder.
  • Sprinkle grated carrot and then onion on all slices.
  • Sprinkle puffed rice on top.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander.
  • Serve immediately.
