  • Potatoes - 400 g
  • Onions - 2
  • Garam masala - 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Masaledaar Aloo

  • Cut the whole, boiled potato into small cubes and keep inside.
  • In a flat pan, pour about 1 tbsp oil and add the sliced onions. Saute till the onions are light brown in colour.
  • Now add the garam masala, red chilli powders, salt. Stir well and keep aside.
  • In the same pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and add 1 tsp of jeera.
  • To this, add the potato cubes and fry them till they are light brown and slightly crisp.
  • Add back the fried onion masala to the potato and stir fry for a minute.
  • Serve hot.
