Ingredients

  • 2 nos - Cloves
  • 3 nos - Cardamom pods
  • 1 - Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp - Fresh green tea leaves
  • 1/4 cup - Cows milk
  • 1/2 cup - Water
  • 5-6 leaves of tulsi(holy basil)
  • 1/4 tsp - Dry ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp - Honey

How to Make Masaledar Cutting Chai

  • In a mortar, crush the cloves, tulsi, cardamom pods, cinnamon, basil and dry ginger or use a coffee grinder.
  • Transfer the crushed spices to a small saucepan, add the water, ginger and pepper and bring to a boil.
  • Remove the pan from the heat, cover and let steep for 5 minutes.
  • Add the milk and sugar to the pan and bring to a boil.
