Ingredients

  • 2 cups - chapatti atta
  • 2 cups - gram flour (besan)
  • 2 tsp - salt
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped
  • 2 tsp - black pepper
  • 1 tsp - amchur (mango powder) or to taste
  • 2 tbsp - fresh coriander
  • 2 - onions, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp - Ghee
  • Warm water for kneading
  • Ghee for shallow frying

How to Make Masaledar roti

  • Sift the chapatti atta, gram flour and salt in a bowl. Rub ghee into it.
  • Add green chillies, salt, pepper, amchoor, fresh coriander and onions.
  • Gradually add the water and knead into a stiff dough, cover and leave aside for 30 mins.
  • Divide the dough into 12 balls.
  • Roll out each ball a little thicker than a chapatti.
  • Heat a tawa/griddle and shallow fry with a little ghee.
  • Serve hot.
