  • 8 - Bread slices.
  • 3 - potatoes, boiled and mashed.
  • 2 - onions, finely chopped.
  • 2 - green chillies, finely chopped.
  • 1 - tomato, finely chopped.
  • Coriander leaves - finely chopped.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder (optional).
  • Butter or oil.

How to Make Mashed Potato Sandwich

  • Take two bread slices and cut them.
  • Cross to give a triangular shape.
  • Boil the potatoes and mash them.
  • Now, add the onions, tomatoes, green chillies, salt, chilli powder and finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and put them in between the two half cut bread slices.
  • Heat the pan. Take small amount of oil or butter to fry them (not deep fry) till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or any chutney.
