How to Make Mataau (African Dish)

  • Cut patcora leaves into small pieces and boil in 2 litre of water.
  • Boil all the sliced vegetables like carrot, potatoes in 5 litres of water. Let it remain in the water.
  • Remove patcora leaves from boiled water and add to the boiled vegetables.
  • Add groundnut powder and boil together. Stir until well cooked.
  • Heat oil in another vessel, mildly fry garlic paste, onion paste, tomato paste, and chilli powder.
  • Add to the vegetables, season with salt and boil it for another 15 minutes.
  • Then add lemon juice. It's ready to serve.
