  • 3 cups - cooked Rice
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 2 - Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tsp - pav bhaji masala
  • 1 cup - frozen Green peas
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice

How to Make Matar Tawa Pulao

  • Heat enough oil in a pan, fry the cumin seeds until they turn brown.
  • Add immediately the chopped onions, chopped tomatoes and saute until the onions turn translucent.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste to the vegetables, saute until the raw smell goes away.
  • Add the frozen peas, pav bhaji masala, saute for few minutes.
  • Add some water and cook until the water evaporates.
  • Now add the cooked rice, salt, lemon juice and toss everything gently until everything gets well mixed in high heat. Put off the stove immediately.
  • Serve with potato chips or any sort of meats.
