Ingredients

  • 400ml - matha (buttermilk)
  • 2- big potatoes
  • 1 tsp- red chilli powder
  • 1 pinch - hing
  • salt
  • curry leaves
  • 1 pinch - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - besan/gram flour

How to Make Matha Aloo

  • Mix buttermilk, chilli, turmeric powder, masala and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  • Now add mashed potato.
  • After a while, add the buttermilk mixture and cook until it becomes a little thick and serve.
