How to Make Mavilaku Mavu

  • Wash the rice and soak it for 10-15 mins
  • Drain the water and spread the rice in a clean white cloth.
  • Powder in a mixer and sieve the flour to a smooth flour.
  • Mix the rice flour with the grated jaggery, cardamom powder and grated coconut
  • Knead the dough and make small cup out of the dough and pour ghee in the space and put the wick.
  • Now the mavilaku mavu is ready for pooja.
