Ingredients

  • 1 kg - lamb
  • 2 - Potatoes
  • 1 cup - Green peas
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 - onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Vinegar
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped.

How to Make Meat and Green Peas Curry

  • Marinate the meat with salt and turmeric and keep aside for 10 mins.
  • Heat the oil in a pan or a pressure cooker and saute the onions for a few mins.
  • Add the garlic and ginger pastes and stir try for 3 minutes.
  • Add the marinated meat, chopped tomatoes and all the other ingredients and saute for a while.
  • Add sufficient water, cover and simmer till the meat is tender.
  • Then add the potatoes and peas and simmer for 5 more mins or till the potatoes are cooked.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve.
