Ingredients

  • 3/4th kg - minced Meat
  • 1/2 cup - salted biscuit crumbs
  • 1/3 cup - Tomato puree or Tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup - chopped Onions
  • 1/4 cup - breadcrumbs
  • 4 Cloves - Garlic
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 2 - beaten eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • For the filling:
  • 2 cups - fluffy mashed Potatoes
  • 1/2 cup - gd cheese
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Spring onions
  • 1/4 cup - chopped Coriander leaves
  • salt, pepper and mustard to taste
  • For the sauce:
  • 1 cup - Tomato puree or Tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Onions
  • 1 tbsp - oil1 tbsp - Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp - Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • salt, pepper and mustard
  • How to Make Meat and Potato Roll:

    1. Fry chopped garlic and minced meat in 2 tbsps. oil until water dries up and meat is slightly brown. Take off the fire.
    2. Add beaten eggs, biscuit crumbs, tomato puree or tomato sauce, chopped onions, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
    3. Pat mixture into greased foil or waxed paper.
    4. Spread filling and with the help of the paper, roll up the meat and slide it onto a greased baking tray.
    5. For the filling:
    6. Combine the potatoes, grated cheese, chopped spring onions, chopped parsley, salt, pepper and mustard to taste.
    7. Serve the roll with the following sauce.
    8. To make the sauce:
    9. Fry the chopped onions in 1 tbsp. oil till soft.
    10. Add the tomato puree or tomato sauce, brown sugar, worchestershire sauce, lemon juice, chilli powder, salt, pepper and mustard.
    11. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 mins.
