Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 kg - tender Beef or mutton, sliced thinly into 2 inch strips
  • 3 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 3 tsp - salt

How to Make Meat Jerky (Another Version Of Ding Ding)

  • Wash the meat and dry well.
  • Jerk or pull the pieces so that they stretch.
  • Mix these meat strips with the chilli powder, turmeric powder, vinegar and salt.
  • Place on a tray and dry in the sun or dry them in an oven at low temperature till completely dry.
  • Store in an airtight container or in the freezer.
  • Take out and deep fry in oil whenever required.
