  • 1 or 2 kg - tender Beef or mutton, sliced thinly into 2 inch strips
  • 3 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 3 tsp - salt
  • How to Make Meat Jerky (Another Version Of Ding Ding):

    1. Wash the meat and dry well.
    2. Jerk or pull the pieces so that they stretch.
    3. Mix these meat strips with the chilli powder, turmeric powder, vinegar and salt.
    4. Place on a tray and dry in the sun or dry them in an oven at low temperature till completely dry.
    5. Store in an airtight container or in the freezer.
    6. Take out and deep fry in oil whenever required.
