Ingredients

  • 600 gms - boneless mutton, cubed
  • 3 tbsp - soya sauce
  • 1.5 tsp - honey
  • 1 tsp - red chilli paste
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • For satay sauce:
  • 2 onions, peeled, grated
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1.5 cups - peanuts, roasted, powdered
  • 1/2 cup - vinegar
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - jam
  • Oil as needed
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Meat kebabs in sauce

  • Mix all ingredients (except sauce) with meat and set aside for 4 hours.
  • Skewer meat pieces on bamboo sticks or skewers and grill until tender.
  • To make sauce:
  • Heat 3 tbsp oil. fry onions, garlic and ginger. Add all other ingredients and cook till blended, adding half to 1 cup of water as needed. Serve the kebabs hot withs sauce and onion rings.
