Ingredients

  • 600 gms - boneless mutton, cubed
  • 3 tbsp - soya sauce
  • 1.5 tsp - Honey
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli paste
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • For satay sauce:
  • 2 onions, peeled, grated
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1.5 cups - peanuts, roasted, powdered
  • 1/2 cup - Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp - Sugar
  • 2 tbsp - jam
  • Oil as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Meat kebabs in sauce:

    1. Mix all ingredients (except sauce) with meat and set aside for 4 hours.
    2. Skewer meat pieces on bamboo sticks or skewers and grill until tender.
    3. To make sauce:
    4. Heat 3 tbsp oil. fry onions, garlic and ginger. Add all other ingredients and cook till blended, adding half to 1 cup of water as needed. Serve the kebabs hot withs sauce and onion rings.
