Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - boneless Meat (either Beef or mutton), cut into small bits
  • 3 tbsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp - all spice powder
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Garlic
  • 1 tsp - chopped Ginger
  • 2 tbsp - salt
  • 1 cup - refined oil or sesame oil
  • 2 cups - Vinegar

How to Make Meat Pickle

  • Wash the meat well and leave it to dry.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Saute garlic and ginger for some time.
  • Add the meat, chilli powder, cumin powder, nutmeg powder, spice powder, turmeric, vinegar, salt and mix well.
  • Cook on low heat, till the meat is cooked and the gravy is almost dry.
  • Remove from heat and cool.
  • When completely cold, store in bottles and use when required (refrigerate).
