  • 4 - medium bell peppers
  • 1/4 kg - minced Meat
  • 1 - medium finely chopped, Onion
  • 1 - medium size potato, cut in small cubes
  • 1 - carrot, cubed
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 bunch - Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup - Mint leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • 1 m thread.
  • How to Make Meat stuffed bell-peppers:

    1. Heat oil and fry the onions till pink.
    2. Add the chillies and powdered spices and fry well.
    3. Add the potatoes and carrots, and cook for 5 mins and toss a few times.
    4. Add the mince and salt, and cook covered on low heat until the meat and vegetables are done.
    5. Finally, add the chopped coriander leaves and vinegar, toss well and cook covered for a minute, to dry out excess water.
    6. Empty the seeds of the capsicum by slicing the top portion.
    7. Apply butter on both surfaces.
    8. Fill them equally with the mince and cover with the sliced portion and tie with a thread to secure the lid in place.
    9. Grease a pan and shallow fry the stuffed bell-peppers, sprinkling some salt on them.
    10. Cover and cook till they are soft. Don't overcook.
    11. Cut off the threads and serve hot as an appetizer.
