  • 1 - medium sized melon
  • 1.5 liter - milk
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • 1 small packet - custard powder
  • 1/2 cup - butter or cream
  • Essence

How to Make Melon Ice Cream

  • Mix custard powder and sugar with some cold milk.
  • Boil rest of the milk.
  • When it comes to a boil add the custard and sugar in boiling milk.
  • Mash flesh of melon well and keep aside.
  • Add butter to boiled milk, when it cools a little, pour in ice tray and refrigerate.
  • When set, remove from fridge, beat well with an egg beater, add mashed melon and mix well now add essence too.
  • Mix well, pour in ice trays and refrigerate to settle.
  • Once set, the ice cream is ready.
  • Decorate with nuts.
