Ingredients

2 cups - Idli batter

1 tbsp -Tomato spread

Method

  1. After fermenting the idli batter, add salt and mix gently.
  2. If the batter is not fermented properly, the idlis will not become light and spongy.
  3. Pour idli batter to fill half of the idli mould.
  4. Gently put a drop of creamy spread (Tomato twist) on it and cover with batter.
  5. Steam for 6 to 7 minutes till done.
  6. Serve hot.
