  • 1/2 kg - Chicken (cut into medium-sized chunks)
  • 3 - Onions (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 cup - Fenugreek leaves/methi (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup - yogurt
  • Salt - to taste
  • Few Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • 3 - dry Red Chillies
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • How to Make Methi Chicken Roast:

    1. Marinate the chicken with chilly powder, salt, yogurt and keep aside for half an hour.
    2. In a kadai, heat enough oil, fry the fennel seeds and dry red chillies.
    3. Add the chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste and cook until the onions turn translucent.
    4. Now add the marinated chicken, coriander powder and cook them for few minutes.
    5. Add the chopped fenugreek leaves to the cooking chicken. Cook everything on simmer.
    6. Sprinkle some water and cook everything for a few minutes until the chicken roast turns dry.
    7. Serve as side dish.
