How to Make Methi moong dal

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion.
  • When the onions turn brown, add the tomato puree and ginger garlic paste.
  • Mix well. When it is done, add the spices, salt and moong dal.
  • Add 1 cup of water, cover and cook the dal.
  • When the dal is cooked, add the fenugreek leaves.
  • Cover and cook for 5 mins.
  • It should be semi liquid.
  • Enjoy with rice or roti.
