Ingredients

  • 2 cups - whole Milk
  • 2 tbsp - raw Rice
  • 7 - whole Almonds
  • 10 - Pistachio nuts
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • Few Saffron strands
  • 1/4 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp - Ghee
  • How to Make Microwave Badam and Pistachio Phirni:

    1. Soak together the raw rice, badam and pistachio nuts for half an hour.
    2. Meanwhile, heat the milk in a deep microwave bowl on high for 5 minutes (give a stir in between).
    3. Grind the soaked rice and nuts as a fine paste.
    4. Add this grounded paste, ghee and sugar to the hot milk.
    5. Cook on high for 10 minutes in a microwave oven (stir twice or thrice in between).
    6. Add the cardamom powder and saffron strands and cook for 2 minutes on high.
