Ingredients

  • 500 gms - minced Meat
  • 1 large - onion, finely chopped
  • 4 Cloves - garlic, minced
  • 3 cm piece - ginger, finely grated
  • salt to taste
  • 2-3 - Green chilli peppers, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 3 tbsp - cooking oil
  • 2 - large tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - water, chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing.
  • For Seasoning: 3 - Green chilli peppers
  • 2 - small Cinnamon sticks
  • 5 - Cloves
  • 2 - Cardamom pods
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp - cumin seeds.
  • How to Make Microwave Keema Kofta:

    1. Combine the keema, half of the chopped onions, half of the garlic, half of the ginger, salt green chilli peppers and chopped coriander leaves and mix them well.
    2. Make small balls of the above mixture.
    3. Place the meat balls in a shallow dish cover and microwave on high flame for 2 to 4 mins.
    4. Place the rest of onions ginger and garlic in a deep casserole, add oil and all the seasonings.
    5. Cover and microwave on high flame for 4 to 6 mins.
    6. Add water to it and mix well.
    7. Add meat balls and microwave on medium flame for 13 to 15 mins.
    8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    9. Serve hot with boiled rice or naan.
