How to Make Microwave Paruppu Usili

  • Initially cut the beans, place them in a microwave container, add 1 tbsp of water and salt to taste, and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Keep aside.
  • Soak the channa dal in water for half an hour, drain water and grind dal in a mixer with salt and red chillies.
  • In a microwave container, add 2 tbsp of oil, then add mustard seeds and curry leaves and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  • Then to the tadka, add the ground paste, sprinkle 1 tbsp of water and microwave on high for 4 minutes, stirring once in between.
  • Finally add the boiled beans, mix well and microwave on high for 30 seconds.
  • Serve with rice and sambar.
