How to Make Microwaved Bottle gourd and Dal

  • Sprinkle wheat flour over gourd pieces, mix lightly, keep aside. Put dal in a deep microwave bowl, with 1/2 cup water. Microwave on high for 6-7 mins, till half done.
  • Add gourd, spread evenly, microwave again for 4 mins.
  • Sprinkle all masalas, salt, oil, cumin seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida.
  • Microwave again for 3-4 mins, remove, stand for 2 mins.
  • Toss well with a fork or wooden spatula.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves, serve hot with chapattis.
