How to Make Microwaved Upma

  • Rub 1 tbsp of ghee into the sooji.
  • Roast on micro high for 2 mins.
  • Take a casserole, place the remaining ghee, mustard and cumin seeds, cashew, curry leaves.
  • Cook on micro high for 3 mins.
  • Add onions, ginger, chopped green chillies, cook on micro high for 3 mins.
  • Add the roasted sooji, salt and water.
  • Stir well cook on micro high, covered for 10 mins.
  • Serve with pickle.
