Ingredients

  • 1 tsp - black pepper
  • 1 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 8 - Red Chilli
  • 2 tsp - Coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp - Channa dal
  • 4 tsp - Tamarind pulp
  • 1 cup - Curry leaves
  • a pinch - hing/asafetida
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Milagu Kuzhumbu:

    1. Fry pepper, red chilli, coriander seeds, channa dal, urad dal in a tsp of oil. Allow to cool.
    2. Add tamarind pulp, curry leaves, salt and hing. Grind all together in a mixer.
    3. Add three cups of water and boil for 15 mins.
    4. Serve with rice.
