Ingredients

  • 4 cups - raw Rice -
  • 3 cup - Urad Dal
  • 1 litre - Milk
  • Sugar - according to your taste
  • oil for deep fry (with 100 g ghee-optional)
  • a pinch of Cardamom
  • salt

How to Make Milk Vada

  • Soak the rice and dal and make a thick paste like vada batter, along with salt.
  • Take a tsp of the batter and deep fry them in medium flame until golden brown, take out the vada and squeeze the excess oil out.
  • Allow milk to simmer then add cardamom and sugar in it.
  • Add the vadas in the milk and allow them to cool, so that they'll soak properly.
