  • 4 - carrots
  • 50 ml - milk
  • 100 ml - condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp - ghee
  • 2 tsp - cashew nuts, split
  • 2 tsp - raisins

How to Make Milkmaid Carrot Halwa ( Milkmaid Gajar Ka Halwa )

  • Grate carrots and keep it aside.
  • In a pan heat 1 tbsp ghee and add finely grated carrots and fry for 3 - 4 minutes.
  • Add milk and mix all the ingredients well, stir occasionally.
  • Cover and cook on a low heat for 15 minutes.
  • Finally add milkmaid and stir well.
  • Again cover and cook for another 15-18 minutes on a medium heat.
  • Add split cashew nuts and raisins and stir continuously for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve warm or cool.
