  • 2 tsp - butter
  • 1 tin - condensed milk
  • 100 g - sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - cardamom powder, optional
  • 1 tsp - extra butter
  • Some cashew nuts or raisins

How to Make Milkmaid Milk Toffee

  • In a thick non-stick pan, heat 2 tsp butter and add condensed milk and sugar.
  • Mix well and stir continuously for 20 minutes on a low heat, until the mixture thickens.
  • Sprinkle cardamom powder (optional) and stir well.
  • Grease a tray or steel plate with 1 tsp butter and pour the condensed milk-sugar mixture into it.
  • Cut the toffee to desired shape and size or shape the mixture into small balls.
  • Decorate with chopped cashew nuts or raisins.
