  • 1 tsp - red chilli paste
  • 1tbsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 1tsp - coriander powder
  • 1-2 green chillies

How to Make Minced meat and methi koftas

  • Clean the minced meat
  • Ensure that all the water is drained out completely, if not the koftas might split.
  • Once the water from the meat is drained out completely squeeze the meat and form small balls of them and keep it in the fridge for about 15-20 mins.
  • In a pan heat the oil, add onions fry a bit.
  • Then add methi leaves and fry until the oil separates and the onions turn golden brown.
  • To this add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, green chillies and saute for about 5 mins.
  • Then add some water if a gravy is required.
  • Once a thick gravy is formed, add the koftas and cover the pan with a lid.
  • Do not use a spoon or spatula as the koftas might break, keep tossing the pan.
  • Cook until the meat is tender.
