Ingredients

  • Minced mutton - 1 kg
  • onion - 1 kg, sliced
  • coriander seeds - 50 gms
  • dry red chillies - 12 to 15
  • oil - 3 tbsp
  • onion - 1/2 kg, minced
  • green chillies - 8 to 10
  • coconut - 1, grated
  • cumin seeds - 4 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • For Seasoning:
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • mustard- 1 tsp
  • curry leaves - few

How to Make Minced Meat Fry (Hurida Kochachalu Mamsa)

  • Fry coriander seeds, red chillies, half of the green chillies and onion in oil. Cool and grind to a paste.
  • Grind remaining onion, green chillies, coconut and cumin coarsely.
  • Mix fried masala paste with mutton.
  • Add turmeric and salt.
  • Cook the meat in its own juices.
  • Prepare seasoning and add.
  • Fry till almost dry.
  • Stir in the coconut masala and remove from fire.
