Ingredients

  • 800 g - minced Prawns
  • 8 - wooden skewers
  • 2 tbsp - salt
  • 2.5 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp - black pepper
  • For crumbing:
  • 1 cup - dried bread crumbs
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • Sweet and sour dipping sauce:
  • 160 ml - sweet and sour sauce
  • 2 pcs - Lemon
  • 30 g - salt
  • 30 g - black pepper
  • 2 pcs - Red Chilli

How to Make

  • Mince the prawns. Mix together with the seasonings.
  • Put on sugarcane skewer or wet wooden skewer (approx. 100 g prawn mixture to be placed around sugar case or the wooden skewers).
  • Dip in beaten egg then finely ground dried bread crumbs.
  • Leave to dry, about 1-2 hrs.
  • Deep fry until golden brown.
  • Mix all the dipping sauce ingredients together.
  • Serve 2 prawn sticks per person with the dipping sauce.
