Ingredients

  • For mini idli:
  • 250 ml - idli batter
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • For curd:
  • 600 ml - medium thick Curd
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder, dry roast
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 3 tsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - extra Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - chaat masala powder (optional)
  • How to Make Mini Idlis in Spicy Curd:

    1. Grease mini idli stand with oil and keep aside.
    2. Pour idli batter with a spoon and steam it till cooked.
    3. Remove idli stand from the steamer and keep it aside to cool for 15 minutes.
    4. For curd:
    5. Blend curd with roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, salt to taste and 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves (reserve 2 tsps) and keep it aside.
    6. Arrange mini idlis on a flat serving dish and pour blended curd over it.
    7. Keep aside for 15 - 20.
    8. Sprinkle a little red chilli powder, chaat masala powder and chopped coriander leaves when serving.
