Ingredients

  • 2 cups - bread flour/maida
  • 1 cup - wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - butter (room temperature)
  • 1 cup - milk (lukewarm)
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tbsp - active dry yeast
  • 4 tbsp - nutella spread

How to Make Mini Nutella Pullapart Bread

  • Add the active dry yeast, sugar and salt to the lukewarm milk and mix well. Set aside in a warm place for 5 minutes until the yeast turns foamy.
  • Add the butter, egg and foamy yeast to the maida and wheat flour and knead for a few minutes. Prepare a soft and stiff dough.
  • Grease a bowl with some butter and place the dough in it. Let the dough sit for an hour in a warm place until it doubles in volume.
  • After an hour, punch down the dough and roll it as a large rectangular disc.
  • Spread the nutella over the rolled disc and slice it into medium-sized squares.
  • Place the squares one over another.
  • Move the stack to a greased mini loaf pan and let the dough squares sit again an hour in a warm place, covered with a towel.
  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and arrange the baking pan in the middle rack.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust turns brown.
  • Let the bread cool down completely.
  • Serve with a cup of tea or for breakfast.
