Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - Coriander leaves, wash well without the stalks
  • 1 bunch - Pudina/mint leaves, wash well without the stalks
  • 8 to 10 - Green chillies (this you can vary as per your tolerance to spice)
  • 1 small ball - Tamarind, soaked in water
  • 6 to 7 - Garlic flakes (peeled)
  • 5 to 6 - medium sized Onions diced
  • 1 small piece - ginger, peeled and chopped
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Mint chilli Chutney:

    1. Mix all the above ingredients along with a little water and grind to fine paste in a mixer.
    2. Serve with cucumber slices or raw mango slices.
    3. You may even squeeze some lime juice over it when serving it with cucumber.
    4. Note:
    5. This is a very popular chutney used by the street vendors to smear cucumber, raw mango slices, or even used for making bhelpuri.
    6. This can even be used as a sandwich paste between slices of bread and vegetables.
