Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Beef mince
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1.5 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - herb / Mint powder
  • 2 brinjals, chopped
  • 1/4 cup - Tomato puree
  • Grated cheese - as needed
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • How to Make Minty Minced Meat Casserole:

    1. Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions for about 5 minutes.
    2. Add the mince, garlic paste, tomatoes, pepper, salt and herb / mint powder and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
    3. Add the chopped brinjals and the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.
    4. Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
    5. Bake in a moderate oven ( 355 degrees ) for 30 minutes.
    6. The dish should be moist. Serve with toast and steamed vegetables.
