  • 3 - Bell peppers (Chopped)
  • 3/4 cup - Peanuts
  • 1/2 cup - Channa (chick pea) flour
  • 1 tbsp - Grated Coconut
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1.5 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - Salt
  • 2 dashes - Hing (Asafetida)
  • 5 tbsp - Oil
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • How to Make Mircha Nu Shak:

    1. Chop peanuts in a blender coarsely until you have a combination of powder and some small chunks.
    2. In a large bowl, mix chopped peanuts with flour, coconut, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric, salt and sugar.
    3. Add chopped bell peppers to the bowl and coat thoroughly with the peanut mixture.
    4. Heat 3 tbsps oil and hing in a microwave safe bowl until you hear the hing sizzle.
    5. Transfer coated bell peppers and remaining mixture to the oil.
    6. Pour 1 tbsp oil over the bell peppers.
    7. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 4 minutes.
    8. Take out, stir, add 1 tsp more oil on top of bell peppers and microwave for another 3 minutes.
    9. Ready to serve (will generally serve 4)
    10. This usually goes well served with roti or puri.
