Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - onion, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 small - red bell pepper, cubed
  • 1 small - yellow bell pepper, cubed
  • 1 small - green bell pepper, cubed
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • For dried Fenugreek leaves:
  • In a pan add Fenugreek leaves and dry roast for 3 - 5 minutes until crisp.
  • Remove from the heat and crush it into a fine powder.
  • How to Make Mixed Bell Pepper Subzi with Kasoori Methi:

    1. Heat 1 tbsp oil and add cubed onion and fry till light pink in colour.
    2. Add cubed bell peppers and stir for 1 minute.
    3. To this add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
    4. Mix all the ingredients well and cook covered on low heat for 8 - 10 minutes.
    5. Do not add water when cooking.
    6. Sprinkle dry roasted fenugreek powder and serve.
