Ingredients

  • 1 - red delicious apple, diced and peeled
  • 1 - banana, cubed
  • 1 - alphonso mango, diced
  • 10-12 - strawberries
  • 1/2 cup - plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup - icing sugar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp - chopped walnuts (optional)

How to Make Mixed Fruit Gelato

  • Place diced fruits in an airtight container and freeze until solids, at least for 6 hours.
  • Break up big pieces and transfer fruits chunks into food processor.
  • Add yogurt and icing sugar and process until it becomes fairly smooth.
  • Place in an air tight container, add chopped walnuts and wrap with cling film, freeze for 6-8 hours.
  • Take out from the freezer, pierce a fork and break up the ice crystals in the middle and edges of container.
  • Freeze again for 45 minutes, repeat the raking and freezing process 2 times more.
  • Scoop in serving bowl and serve with dash of chocolate syrup topping or enjoy as it is.
