Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Oats
  • 1/2 cup - mixed vegetables (onion, beans, carrot, capsicum, cabbage)
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Channa dal
  • 1/2 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1.5 tsp - oil
  • Salt and pepper powder to taste
  • 2 cups - water
  • How to Make Mixed veg oats upma:

    1. Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard, and fry channa and urad dal till brown.
    2. Add finely chopped vegetables and stir for half a minute.
    3. Add oats and stir again for a minute, then add required salt and pepper powder.
    4. Finally, add 2 cups of water and cook on a low flame till done.
    5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
