  • 3 cups - Mixed vegetables (carrots, zucchinis, turnips, Chow chow and French beans)
  • 2 - Onion (chopped finely)
  • 3 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1/4 cup - rolled oats
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • 5 - Curry leaves
  • How to Make Mixed Veggies and Oats Thoran:

    1. Grind the green chillies and cumin seeds as a bit coarse paste with enough water.
    2. Heat enough oil. Let it splutter. Add the mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
    3. Add the mixed vegetables.
    4. Saute for few minutes. Now add the grounded paste, saute for few seconds.
    5. Sprinkle some water and cook everything in medium flame. Finally add the rolled oats and cook until the oil get separates from the vegetables.
    6. Enjoy hot.
