Ingredients

  • 3 cups - Mixed vegetables (chopped carrots, green beans, zucchini)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 3 - Green chillies (slit opened)
  • 1/4 cup - Toor Dal (soaked for half an hour)
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds + Urad Dal
  • Few Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • How to Make Mixed Veggies Toordal Stir fry - MW Version:

    1. Cook the soaked toor dal with soaked water for 5 minutes in microwave oven on high power.
    2. Stir the cooked dal and keep aside.
    3. Now take enough oil with mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
    4. Cook everything for 3-4 minutes on high power.
    5. Add the chopped onions, green chillies and salt to them.
    6. Cook everything for 5-7 minutes until the onions turns translucent.
    7. Now add the vegetables and already cooked toor dal.
    8. Cook everything again for 10-15 minutes on high power (stir in between) until the vegetables get well cooked.
    9. Serve warm with rice or rotis.
